ABC has uploaded a new interview with the cast of My Generation and they are asking each other questions. You can watch the video below!
Edit: Screencaptures of the interview have now been added to the gallery!
Greg Hernandez had the chance to interview Michael at this year’s Summer TCA Tour. He published an article with quotes from Michael on his website here. I found the following quote really interesting:
“I really want to get to know the writers and be on set when I’m not called because I want to watch the scenes. I have ambitions to write and direct more.”
Furthermore “My Life, Made Possible By Pop Culture” has uploaded a video interview of her with Michael at this year’s Summer TCA Tour. Watch it as it gives us a bit more of an insight to the character Michael plays on My Generation!
My Generation was shown in front of nearly 600 people at the Paramount Theater in Austin last week. The Horn has covered the event and reviewed the pilot for My Generation. Below is a small excerpt from the review. To read it in full please vist the website.
My Generation is brought to life by its uncanny ability to be culturally relevant. Each of the main characters seems to be affected by a major life event that has happened within the past ten years – the controversial 2000 election, 9/11, the Enron scandal, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and the 2008 economic crisis. Each of these, as well as other major life events, seems to touch some character in a way that drastically impacts their lives.
Austinites will not be disappointed by the way this show depicts their town and its people; it portrays Austinites as expected – weird, loveable, funny and heartwarming. These characters don’t feel like actors, they maintain the illusion of the faux documentary, feeling more like your strange, slightly offbeat neighbors who have a lot of issues.
ABC has uploaded a new promotional clip for My Generation on Facebook. Unfortunately the video cannot be embedded so you can view it here until I can find one. Thanks to Katzenbeere we now have an embedded video of the promo! I’m so stoked for this new series!
I have added captures of the new promo, plus two posters and a miscellaneous picture of My Generation to the gallery.
Thanks to Carmel we now have captures of Michael’s breakthrough role as Rob Hawkins in Cloverfield in the gallery!
I have finally added captures of Michael’s last appearance as Paul Ash in Kings to the gallery. Unfortunately his role was quite small but we definitely have My Generation to look forward to now!
In 2008 the New York Times Style Magazine and writer/director Brody Baker shot 12 short films at the Sundance Film Festival. Michael was part of a take called Room 102. You can watch it here.
Screencaptures have now been added to the gallery.
Welcome to the redesigned and renamed Michael Stahl-David Source. I’m the new owner of the site with thanks to my host Gertie for giving it to me.
I’ve decided to put up a temporary version so I can work on the site and provide you with the latest Michael news, since there is quite a bit of stuff to report with his latest project My Generation about to air this fall!
I’m currently working on a new gallery which you can access by clicking on the navigation above. You can still browse the old gallery here. All pictures at the new gallery will remain untagged so enjoy!
