Michael’s Ucoming Projects
filed in News, Projects

In February this year it was announced that Michael and Zoe Kazan would be starring in the film In Your Eyes. Other upcoming projects for him include Mutual Friends, The Congress and The Bounceback which is currently filming. Below are press releases from some of the projects.

A couple of weeks ago it was reported that Abigail Spencer (Mad Men) would be taking the lead in the Joss Whedon-scribed indie In Your Eyes, which Brin Hill will direct.

But now comes word that the sci-fi romance In Your Eyes has a more than capable replacement ready to step in — Michael Stahl-David (Cloverfield) and Zoe Kazan (Meek’s Cutoff) have landed the lead roles.

The story is based on ‘two seemingly polar opposites who are deeply connected in ways neither could have ever imagined.’

Stahl-David stars as

“Dylan, a boyish-looking man who served time in jail for robbery when he refused to rat on his accomplices. Now, he is living in a trailer in New Mexico.”

Kazan stars as

Rebecca, an attractive but skinny and slightly awkward woman, who is married to an older doctor and living in Connecticut. The two have a powerful connection, and they can hear and see each other, even though they have never met.

Shooting is set to start in Los Angeles and Boston next week.

Michael Stahl-David, Sara Paxton, Zach Cregger and Addison Timlin have joined the cast of The Bounceback. Directed by Bryan Poyser, the indie romantic comedy chronicles two former couples that end up in Austin, Texas on the same emotionally fraught weekend. Trace Sheehan and Megan Gilbride are producing the project, which is set to start filming this month. Executive producers are Ross Dinerstein and Kevin Iwashina of Preferred Content. Stahl-David, who starred in 2008’s Cloverfield, is with ICM and Management 360.

The cast of My Generation was on AOL’s Outside The Box and they’ve asked each other questions submitted by viewers of the show.

The videos cannot be embedded so you can view them here, here, here and here.

We now know that Michael doesn’t own a DVR and that he watches Mad Men. (;

Summer TCA Coverage
filed in Gallery, News, Videos

Greg Hernandez had the chance to interview Michael at this year’s Summer TCA Tour. He published an article with quotes from Michael on his website here. I found the following quote really interesting:

“I really want to get to know the writers and be on set when I’m not called because I want to watch the scenes. I have ambitions to write and direct more.”

Furthermore “My Life, Made Possible By Pop Culture” has uploaded a video interview of her with Michael at this year’s Summer TCA Tour. Watch it as it gives us a bit more of an insight to the character Michael plays on My Generation!
